  1. On your TV, open Settings and enable installs from unknown sources. On many devices: Settings → Apps → Security & restrictions → Unknown sources (or Developer options → Install unknown apps).
  2. Install the Downloader app from your TV's app store (Amazon Appstore on Fire TV, Play Store on Google TV).
  3. Open Downloader, enter this URL, and download the APK: https://luminanetwork.tv/downloads/lumina-android-tv.apk
  4. When the download finishes, open the file and choose Install. Launch Lumina from your apps list.
  5. Alternative: copy the APK to a USB drive, plug it into the TV, and open it with a file manager (Files, X-plore, or similar).

Android phone or tablet

  1. On this device, tap Download APK above (or open this page in Chrome).
  2. If prompted, allow your browser to download files from this site.
  3. Open Settings → Security (or Apps → Special app access) and allow installs from unknown sources for Chrome, Files, or your download manager.
  4. Open the downloaded lumina-android-tv.apk from your notification shade or Downloads folder, then tap Install.
  5. Open Lumina, sign in, and start watching.

Troubleshooting

Parse error / package appears to be invalid

The download may be incomplete. Delete the APK, download again from luminanetwork.tv, and retry. Very old Android versions (below 7.0) may not be supported.

Install blocked or app not installed

Confirm unknown sources / install unknown apps is enabled for the app you used to open the APK (Downloader, Chrome, or Files). On Samsung and some OEMs, also disable Play Protect scanning for this install if it incorrectly flags sideloads.

Can't find the app after installing

On Android TV, check Apps → See all apps. On Fire TV, look under Your Apps & Channels. The app may appear as Lumina or Lumina TV depending on your launcher.
